Story #2 – Linda Parsons & Roy Lewallen

Hmmm, I suppose that the statute of limitations has expired and the story can be told.

The night before our senior class was to pick up our graduation attire, I and another conspirator were hard at work in his father’s  basement, putting the finishing touches on some rather efficiently timed smoke bombs. The next day, watches were synchronized, and the two culprits managed to be excused from their respective classes for "necessary" reasons.  At that point, in the time it normally takes for the average pit stop, the ventilator vents were unscrewed, smoke bombs placed inside, watches checked, fuses lit, vents replaced and said culprits returned to their classes.

Approximately fifteen minutes later, all hell broke loose. The fire department arrived quickly, (as well as the police) the school was evacuated, and the smoke bombs detected.  The two criminals made it past the police without being checked, because Mr. Brownyard vouched for them, even though he almost certainly knew they’d done the deed.
