What have you been up to for the last 40 years?
Married Kathryn Stark in Sept of 1988. Going on 15 years. We have no children or grandchildren.
Served in the USAF from 1963-67. I stayed stateside for the entire enlistment in Arizona. Started work for the Denver & Rio Grande Western Railroad in July of 67 after discharge from USAF. I am still working for the railroad and hope to retire in 3-4 years.
My special interests are photography and some of my photos have appeared in several books and magazines. Other interests are custom building miniature models that have been acquired by the railroad, various collections which include railroad china, Southwest Kachinas, books, etc.
When I have spare time, Kathryn and I travel to various National Park Historic Sites, monuments, and parks. We have traveled throughout the country but spend most of our time in the west and southwest. We plan to travel more in the east when I retire.
I also spend time as a volunteer at the Colorado Railroad Museum, working in the library. We answer questions that come in from the general public, and catalog documents and photos in the archives.
The teachers that I recall having a positive force were: Michael Johnson, LeVern Doty, Henry Brock, Kenneth Mueller and Mrs. Schissler.
