First Name: Carole Middle Name: Irene Maiden Name: Stansbery Last Name: Crance Nick Name: Scubamom Current Address: 3630 Meadowland Blvd. Home Phone: (719) 593-1068 Office Phone: (719) 531-0250 E-mail Address: Ccscubamom@adelphia.net Cell Phone: (719) 964-7234 What have you been up to for the last 40 years? Married 1 year ago on Dec. 24, 2001 to Jim Crance. First marriage to Richard Flores produced 2 children, Jeff and Julie. Both are college grads and are in the working field. Jeff his is own electrical business and Julie is working with an attorney. No grandchildren of my own , but 3 from my husbands side of the family, James, 11yrs., Ashley 9 yrs., and Preston is 1 yr. I received my degree when my kids were in high school, majored in music and business. Completed certifications as a dental technician, certified travel agent, certified as a healthcare person and as a scuba instructor. Flew with United Airlines as a stewardess for 5 and ½ years and went into travel after leaving United. Have traveled the world exstensively, but favor Mexico. Have a time share in Cancun and get to scuba dive in Cozumel every year, which is one of my favorite dive places. Diving is my favorite sport and have dived everything from the Great Barrier Reef in Australia to the Red Sea, love the Caribbean and South Pacific. If there is sun, sand and water I’m happy. My latest thing is to get my pilots license since my husband and I own our little Cessna 175. Favorite high school memory is the cheer leading at the football games. Favorite 60’s song is “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond. Mrs. Nathan taught me more than typing, she taught me persistence and integrity. I would not have known about this reunion, if Tom Lay, whom I goosed one time with my purse, on purpose to see him jump, hadn’t told me about it. I lost my folks in ’94 and ’96 and have been in Colorado Springs for many, many years and out of contact with any of my classmates. Am looking forward to seeing old friends, with new faces, I know I don’t look at all like I did in high school! (But to be honest I’d rather be scuba diving…hehe) What do you want to do with the rest of your life (the next 50 years!)
Scuba dive till I can anymore. Never retire from the work field, even if it is part time like I am now for a moving company. Fly to all the neat air shows around the country. Enjoy what life the Great Spirit has left me.
