Many thanks for including me in your Alameda H.S. Class of '63 Reunion. What a great event. It was a real "class" act from start to finish. Those of you who worked so hard to make it happen really did a great job. The personal invitation and phone calls, the excellent "Grand Buffet", the printed program, the A.H.S Mugs, the personalized name tags and most of all the excellent program. The only thing you couldn't control was the enthusiasm of the group and their desire to share past and present experiences so loudly that you couldn't get a word in at times. I greatly appreciate your comments about the teachers. It's too bad more of us couldn't have heard them. Somehow it makes all worthwhile. Thanks for that.
Thanks again for a memorable evening. Seeing all of you "kids" and realizing that what we had together was treasured and remembered meant a lot, even with the bonfire and the hole in the auditorium ceiling. Please convey my thanks to all who worked so hard.
