After graduation I enrolled at Rangely College in the Dental Hygiene Program. I received my associate's degree in 1965. I obtained a license to practice in South Dakota, and met my husband John Williamson, the first day I was in Rapid City. I met him at Taco Town a 3.2 bar with a band, he was working the door and checking ID's. I guess you could say the rest is history, as we are still married since 1966. We have two children Kenneth John who was born on our 3rd. Wedding anniversary May 27,1969, I also missed John's Graduation from Black Hills State College where he received a bachelor's degree in Education. Our Daughter Julia Lynn was born August 20, 1970. Neither of our children are married now (Julia was married a brief 2 years), however both are in relationships, that could lead to marriage. Ken is the Production Manager at Sierra Chemical in Reno, and Julia is currently CFO at Lend Lease in Dallas Texas, she has a master's degree in business and undergrad in marketing and finance. I practiced Dental Hygiene for 35 years in various states untill my body would not handle it any longer, I now have carpel tunnel syndrome and Fibromyalgia. I was on the Board of Trustees for the American Dental Hygienists Association for many years, as District Trustee, Treasurer, President Elect, President and Past President. I was able to travel around the U.S. and Canada during my term as President and I have many friends across the U.S and so many great memories. I am now currently working full time with my husband in our business, B&W Wholesale Dist. Inc. We sell Casino supplies and Promotional Products, we have salesmen in South Dakota, Colorado and Nevada. We have been blessed to have an office in our home that has had steady growth for 13 years. It was difficult to leave Entaly Hygiene Practice and my Patients, however it was nice to have a place to land. I do sales and marketing, accounts payable, etc. for the business. We have a great house and I love to work in my yard although I have to pace myself now. We Have traveled to many great locations on Cruise Ships our favorite way to travel. Our next goal is Australia and New Zealand, we had a trip planned in February and had to cancel because of my Mother's death. So will try again in early 2004.
The rest of my life I hope will be traveling, spoiling grandchildren, gardening, and after we sell the business and retire, relaxing. I would like to do some volunteer work at hospitals, when I have the time.
